AAA auto buying assistance

Hi all,

I wanted to see if anyone on here has used the AAA purchase price tool for buying their new wrangler. I know a lot of members have used TL which seems to use a similar "price lock" structure, but haven't seen any comments about the AAA which is free for me with membership.

If you have used AAA. What is your experience? Did you find a wrangler on the lot or build to order? This will be my first new car purchase so I am definitely considering the build to order option since I can not find the model with options I am interested in. Any input is appreciated.

I used AAA and got my 2012 Wrangler for 2% below dealer invoice.

Glad to hear. Were you able to find one on the lot or did you have to special order?

The AAA deal gives you special pricing that is equivalent to 1-2% under invoice. It's meant to be a no haggle price. Couple it with the TL discount and other incentives like the conquest lease rebate (offered to people that are leasing competitors cars) and you have the ability to reduce the price even further. I was able to use all three and further leverage to get 7% under invoice.

@Matador - Interesting, I had no idea you could pair multiple discounts. It may be worth it for me to sign up for TL then as well. Where you able to find your wrangler on the lot or did you go through the order process?
