Acceleration - please help

I have a 2007 JKU. What is the most cost efficient and best way to increase my acceleration?

unfortunately about the only real way to increase power and acceleration is to regear. Chip tuners like Superchips Flashpaq can get 10 hp and a little better throttle response but that still is barely noticeable for the most part. Will need it for new gears and bigger tires if you get them anyways. Also helps gas mileage a little.

CAI and exhaust will make it sound more powerful but like the tuners it won't get you anything noticeable in real power. One of the least effective measures especially for the cost.

Really the on way to get more out of the current powertrain is new gears. And that will run from $1200 to $1900 depending on the quality of the gears and the area were you live.

Yep, Jimbox sold me on some 5.13's. Works wonders for the Jeep. Very happy with my choice. I could have spent the money on other "cosmetic" mods, but the re- gear is probably the best investment you can make. Better gas mileage for me for sure!
Do not perform any mod for looks alone, mod for function. I promise you if you plan your mods to improve function, you will have a Jeep that "looks" the way you want.
