Accessory advice

My husband and I bought our first Wrangler (2007 2d X). We're looking to buy a new soft top and all weather mats. After reading posts and reviews, we're so far leaning towards Weathertech mats and a Bestop Supertop Nx. Any words of advice before we buy? Also, what's a good seat cover to protect the rear bench for our dogs? I want something that will stay put with all the wind. Thanks for any advice!

Quadratec is a good place to start. They'll also send you a pretty catalog with all sorts of stuff.

They're also a forum vendor here, which can often get you free shipping. Send user "quadratec" a PM and ask.

As to the top, that's the closest thing to a stock soft top as possible and will be fine. Just consider surfing Craigslist for awhile ahead of time to see if you can pick up a new one from somebody who bought a jeep with both tops but doesn't want the softie. That would save you a lot of money.

I've heard many good things about the weather tech liners. The new quadratec branded liners look nice too.

Trek armor is putting out some of the best covers right now, though they're pricey.

Depending on the look you're going for, you may be satisfied with some of the simpler covers. Again, check quadratec. (Except they don't sell trek armor--google it and find they're website to see them.)

Before i finish reading one quadratec catalog, another one arrives shortly after.

Depends on what you're going to use the soft top for. I have the Supertop and in hindsight I would get the Trektop. Nothing wrong with the super top but I don't take it down enough. I find that I use the Sunrider feature most often. If you plan on going full topless often the super top is a good choice.
