Yessir. Pretty good damage to the axle and suspension but it was still drivable. If I had the stock bumper, there's no doubt in my mind that the tire would have been ripped off and much more damage would have occurred

Ouch! That is not bad at all though for a stone wall at 30! That is one HUGE plus for the ACE. They are built out of 1/4" thick steel. So, when this DOES happen, it more than makes up for it!

Ordered 5/30 & it was delivered 8/17. Jason @ KOR is awesome to order from, I think I've ordered from him two more times after I ordered this bumper. Finally found the time to install it last night! It was actually collecting dust for sitting in my garage for almost two months...

Haven't wired the light bars to the sPod yet. I need to find time for that. But the only problem I had was that the Rigid light bars would NOT drop down at all into the bumper tabs. I don't know if the guy who fabricated my bumper welded the light tabs too close or if Rigid widened their design but I had to grind the tabs thinner & also had to cut some of the plastic off the light bar mounts until I was down to bare metal. It was frustrating since this bumper already cost $800+ plus shipping to Alaska. Other than that everything was smooth sailing with the install. I can't see out my back window but who needs one. I just need to figure out a third brake light now.

I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that the plastic thing this ACE bumper replaced is also called a, "bumper."

Just catching up on post reading. I really like the Ace because the hitch is part of the pumper. It smooths out the departure profile instead of having the old receiver just hanging there as an afterthought.

Too bad Ace can't make a universal mounting tab. something with a few adjustable bracket tabs. The Ridged lights are good but pricey for something made in China.

ACE announced the other day they are going to have a option for the Liftetime LED's on their bumpers. I know this will work on the front but I am not sure on the rear... yet. This will really help cut down the cost.

What are these "Lifetime LEDs" you're referring to?

I am in the process of finding new bumpers for ordered 2014 JKUR and really like this bumper/ carrier. Was wondering if there is a CB antenna connection point on this? I have not seen any mention of it . Thanks.

I took the teraflex tire mount one, flipped it around to drivers side and used spacers so it would clear the gate yet not get hit by the swing arm. Took a little fiddling and few cuts with the dremel, but finally got it right.
Oh, and longer bolts too of course.

Just installed my rear ACE PRO bumper last week. The weld quality was not as good as on the ACE bumper I ordered last year for my wife (noticed the same thing with my ACE Pro front so not isolated to this part), I had to grind down the edges with a grinder and paint where the weld did not travel to the ends/edges and left some sharp points, but it looks OK now and the price was still better than PS and some of the others:

I also noticed some droop after installing this and the front bumper/winch (to be expected so no surprise) but installing some JKU springs (from a like model 10A) brought it back to where it was at prior.

I am actually kind of glad it does not have a place for the connector to mount.....I ended up buying a Hopkins magnetic mount and with this I can place it above and inside the bumper when not in use and anywhere on the bumper when I need it (rarely).

I had this issue as well and ended up filing the plastic on either side of the Rigid mounting tabs down flush with the metal- no alterations made to the bumper. My guess is the design was updated since they also have the white RI emblems on either side that my other lights don't have, my 20" RI light bars don't have the plastic mounting tab inserts either and fit fine in the PRO Front bumpers.

AJ, can you put up a pic of a second gen pro series rear bumper as opposed to the newest pro series rear bumper? I don't know which one that I received when I ordered. Thanks, RG

The ace bumper does not weigh much more. The packaged weight is 190lbs. There is about 30lbs in packaging. Putting the bumper and carrier in at around 160lbs.

Thank you

I didn't need a tire carrier, and the JCR standard rear bumper by itself is only about 65 pounds. I still really like your bumper, though, so please don't think my choice was easy or that I'm disparaging your product in any way!

I haven't put my tire carrier on yet but the pro series rear with those lights is the bomb. My wife can actually see when she is backing up now. Tire carrier getting put on in the next couple of weeks.
