ace flat fendor with metalcloak

Folk I just installed my ace wide flat fenders-nice!!:-) in the front there is a lot of exposed stuff that a lose rock or something could hit? I save my front fener liners to try cutting and reinstalling. That said I really like the look of the metalcloak aluminum fender liners.

Anyone have experince installing this with non metalcloak flat fenders on a recent jkr? How was it. How do they look. I have a 2013 2 door jkr. Thanks
