this is mainly for people who run without a spare - that's why there's no spare tire dip
I like it. And you can get it with no light cutout and for a factory receiver. That's cool. Now if only I could buy one like that that fits a spare tire, I'd be in.
Guys,

We have not tested this yet. however, preliminary measurements appear that you should not have an issue. We will be testing this out as we go here in the near future. A stand alone carrier would be the only option for a spare. Keep posted as we hope to have pics soon.

thank you

Factory Spare

From what is stated, it sounds like this bumper is pretty snug to the body, as opposed to most bumpers that stick out a pretty good ways. It might be possible that the factory tire carrier, or TF HD carried pushes the tire far enough away from the tailgate, it might not be an issue. I'm sure Ace could give us measurements to confirm or deny this theory.

I'm really liking this bumper overall, I wanted a slim design and lighter weight bumper when I was shopping for mine, so here are my observations

1. No cutout. I hate rust, and cut outs tend to rust faster because powdercoat doesn't stick to all the angles well, and unless you have an OCD guy doing it, I always see break through within a few years.

2. Love the stock hitch option - that keeps it in my list right there.

3. I like the LED light but I'm cheap. I'd like to see an option from anyone for 2x2 flush mounted pods - with or without the pods included since they all seem designed to use the same size hole and bolts. I have rethought this a bit, this would only work if there was clearance behind, and without checking, I'm still going to guess there isn't enough...

4. Raw. I'd even consider buying this in raw form and cutting my light pod holes and then sending it to powdercoat myself if I can save a couple bucks buying it raw.

5. What's it weigh?

My Halfback bumper showed up yesterday.
I will be mounting it this morning. I have the Tactik adjustable hinge and spare mount, so in a few hours, we will know if it works with RR/Smitty/TF/Tactik hinges.
The bumper looks awesome, it was a long wait, but I'm glad I stuck it out.

The bumper really looks great, I'm going out to install after I finish coffee.
I'll let you know how it goes.

Ok, so I installed my ACE Halfback rear bumper.
I did not get the led light cut out's, but got the cutout for the factory hitch for future installation.
The bumper came packaged extremely well with no damage.
It took all of 1/2 hour to install. Had to drill one 1/2" hole.
Fit fine with my Tactik hinge tire carrier and 315/70-17 ST MAXX, so I'm assuming it will fit with TF/Smittybilt and RR hinges.
Thanks AJ@Ace Engineering for a great product built in the USA!

You can get it cutout for the factory style hitch.
I did get the cutout, just haven't mounted a hitch yet.
