ACE Rails and Rubi Sliders are on!

I took off the factory side steps yesterday and put on Rubi Sliders and ACE Rock Rails. the combo probably added about 150 lbs to the Jeep. Love the look and the ACE rails give a nice step for the littlest hen to get herself in the back seat.

Yes. In the various threads here on the subject the Ace Rails are favored as protection AND as a step.
I've got a set and they are great.

The wife loves being able to get in and out easier, and it has sure made getting what little snow we've gotten this year off the roof much easier.

Added 150 lbs? Shipping weight for the Ace was about 33 lbs each. Are the Rubi rails that heavy? been looking for a take off set.

any chance to show a forward shot to see how far the rails stick out, as they can be used as a step?

Thanks!

33 lbs for 2 dr and 46 lbs for a 4 dr! I would say the rubi rails are around 50 lbs total. So 150 lbs is a close estimate?

2012 JKUR-WC on order, but have a question on side steps. Are there any factory or aftermarket side steps that are compatible with the Rubi rails? My wife and daughter are both about 5'1" and will need a step, for sure - and I fear the rail step is going to be too small. HELP!!!!

Sidesteps I'm not sure about, but the ACE rock sliders can be installed with the Rubi rails left intact. My wife is 5'2" and has no problem using the ACE sliders as a step.

Thanks for your pics ... looks great ... exactly what I needed to see. My JKR is due in a few weeks, and that's one of the first things I'll do.

Just picked up some used Teraflex discos today from a buddy and I need an oil pan/transmission skid so I can get on the trail.

This is actually a shot from the back. Sorry about the quality. Phone camera sucks in low light. The step sticks out 4" from the Rubi Rails, so there's plenty of room for your foot. I have no problem with my size 13s. The rails stick out about 2" from the body, so if you don't have those, you'd have a 6" step
