Can I upgrade so I can use bluetooth and voice command? I've heard you can do a software upgrade and just add a microphone to the car. Is this easy? How do I do this? I have a2014 jeep wrangler Sahara. Love this thing already!!!

You sure you don't already have it ?

My '13 has the 430N and it had it from factory.

I'm no expert on this, but I think there is a difference between "UConnect" and "Connectivity Package".

I think the UConnect is software built into the head unit.
I think the Connectivity Package is hardware that is added to the head unit to add connectivity (Bluetooth, voice commands, etc.)

If my memory serves me correctly, you have to have the Connectivity Package installed (either by the manufacturer or by the dealer) in order to get Bluetooth and Voice Commands to work. I think it is a separate module that mounts outside of the head unit, but attaches to it somehow...

Forgive me if I'm wrong.

if you press and release the uconnect phone button and you see "Uconnect not available" displayed on the screen then the Uconnect module is not installed. If you hear "phone not available" then it's installed and ready for pairing.
You can add the MOPAR Uconnect kit (PN82212159) and there is an optional iPod / USB audio cable (PN 82212160). You can find them online for about $250 for both items. The installation is simple and after the system is installed then you'll need to take the vehicle to the dealer to have it programmed to sales code RSP. Call around on this step because the price will range from 50 - $100.
