adjustable contol arms vs long arms

got another on for ya i bought my JK from dealer with lift and tires thought that would better for warranty issues since they put it on.They told me it was a super lift 4" after looking at it and posted pics here it was pointed out to me that rear axle was setting to far forward and wasnt centered with wheel well.Well I want to fix this but I have some questions.I know you can go with adjustable control arms for rear but also told I could go with long arms. Now i am thinking long term here so what are advantages and diadvantages to both and bottom line what do you think I should go with? also can I put long arms on the back and then later buy for front? Thanks

I dont know about long arms, I'm going to stick with mid arms. Long arms just look like another waist of money that I would dent up and bend, and they'd be useless and I'd have to get another set... But that's just me, they dont exactly look like they can take a lot of damage.

what are your long term plans for it? if its a DD/mall crawler then adjustable arms will be fine. if you plan on wheeling it lose ALL the super lift stuff and go with a real lift, Clayton, Rock Krawler, Offroad evo coilovers if you have the cash. ect. Long arms are better for wheeling and street driving as they ride better. No real down side other then higher cost.

I want to built it to rock crawler i dont really care about mudding it I have a 4 wheeler for that but I do need to learn about the long arm suspension and what advantages and disadvantages there is to them.I am by far a rich man but for those of you that can remember that song by jonny cash i might have to go one piece at a time. also with either adjustable control arms or long arms wont I have to replace the driveshfts to make fit? I know the drivwshafts are weak on JKs and I am looking into that right now maybe someone can tell me some good ones to go with.I turned 43 today and this is my toy or in other words my money pit.So whatever is best in the long run is what i want to do
