AEV Bumpers Advise

Hello! I recently got a 2008 JK Sahara 4x4 -- wanting to get the AEV front
(tubeless) and rear bumpers. Got a friend selling them for 1500 both. Just wondering if its a good deal. No scratches and good shape apparently. Rear bumper without the tire carrier. Thanks in advance for your advise guys!

that isn't a bad price if they are in great shape. I've seen them sell for less on craigslist but they usually sell really quick

Be aware of the fact that there are counterfeit ave products that are often sold at these types of prices. Someone tried to sell me fakes last week. Go to aev - conversions forum to look at there counterfeit thread on how to identify. If they're real then enjoy!! Price could be better.

They are probably just take offs from a call of duty or Moab. $1500 is a good price I'd say, retail is around $2200 new.

thanks for the replies, I'll ask if he has at least proof of a legitimate purchase just in case.

Unless like above stated they are off the cod or Moab. On those the rear bumper doesn't have the water tanks on either side.

Also make sure the front will work on yours. There have been changes made in the design over the years to bolt up to the new models. Not sure if there would be any issue with the rear. As far as that goes, there may not be an issue with either.
