Installed my AEV bumper and SB 10k winch today. Love them both. Now for the next accessory....populating those light installation tabs on the bumper. First of all I have rigid dually d2 s on the a pillars. Like the big round number mounted lights but not happy with how some of the round led lights look. Can't beat the look of the ipf or old school kc. So....my initial gut feel was a 10-15 inch led light bar.
Now for the question..the light tabs are 10.3/4 inches apart if I remember right. The 10 inch lights I have seen have tabs on them that extend to about 13 inches. How do people mount these ?
Anyone have these...Westin EF series light bars. The mounts look infinitely adjustable along the full length of the light, making the measurements of my light mount tabs a non-issue....price point is nice too.
For those interested, I went the cheap route and got a 12 inch light in eBay that has moveable adjustable mounting brackets so I should be all covered. I love the rigid for $400 but know I will use it very little anyway.
Actually got one with 5 w leds and got 2 of them for $125 so I either have a spare or will eventually find some way of mounting somewhere .
They haven't arrived yet but this is a pic of the brackets...the move along that rail, a nice design I think. I can't see how it would interfere with the winch but we will see.
I have 170mm LightForce Halogens on mine. They are about the nicest fit I found. I did try a 10" bar but mounting was awkward...
