AEV Lift

M about to buy an AEV 3.5" lift for my 2014 JK unlimited. Any thoughts? Is this the best lift to buy?

We just installed this lift on my 2013 JKUR last week. I LOVE IT! The ride is improved and very smooth, did much better on the trail we took in on. There are a many different opinions out there, I talked to many people on the trails, my friends, people in the business and finally made my mind up about the AEV and I have no regrets.

When I was in the market for my lift I talked to AEV's tech department. They sold me with their knowledge and professionalism.

I called other companies and didn't get a great feeling from the others.

I have driven AEV built rigs and lifted several Wranglers and Fj Cruisers with OME.
If I were lifting my current 2014 JKUS I'd lift with AEV slightly ahead of OME based on experience and the engineering that goes into the AEV but the OME lifts were very good.

If you can find AEV in the Chrysler accessories catalog then it must be a decent product. I went with the 4.5" and haven't looked back. Well worth it.

My jeep was built by AEV after doing about 12 months of research. Great company great products. They stand behind their products. My 2 cents, go for it because you will not regret your decision. 👍

Installed all my AEV stuff when the Jeep was new and I have almost 1500 miles on it and I couldn't be happier. It rides great, not one squeak, rattle or thunk and looks great!

You won't go wrong with an AEV setup.

Just a little inspiration for ya

AEV makes outstanding products particularly their lift kits. Unfortunately they tend to be pricey and discounts are not available.

Have you read any of threads regarding 2.5" lift of any brand? There is a benefit to stay at or below 2.5"? If you go higher just get ready to spend more on mods.

I would also recommend to a set of adjustable CA's to fine tune your Caster angle.

I have the AEV 2.5 with Geo Brackets and it's great! Handling and ride is perfect for my needs. Love the look and stance as well. Good luck!

I haven't experienced any other lifts, but I'd buy my AEV 3.5" lift again in a heart beat. I've got 36k miles on mine now and never ha one issue with anything pertaining to the lift. You can see of my pic pics at the link at the bottom of my post.

The wife and I did the KY LBL Jamboree towards the end of May and we ran the toughest trails with 9 others in our group. The lift performed flawless. Only damage was donating some bits of aluminum from my wheels to the trails when rubbing some rocks.

You won't regret purchasing AEV
