Question AEV Lift & Cam Bolt Questions

I am trying to learn about lifting a JK 4Dr. I am thinking either a 3.5 or 4.5 lift. One person recommended the AEV suspension lift but they said Cam Bolts are junk, plus they said the off-road ride was a bit rough.

I have two questions regarding this:

1) This JK will be a DD and 1-2 wk ends a month for offroading is there a better suspension lift then the AEV for that.

2) If AEV is still the better choice for one should i replace the Cam Bolts with a LUA/LCA?

Also can someone explain to me what the controller arms and cam bolts do exactly and why i need to be so worried about them.

I am not sold to AEV i just want to do top quality lift that will take a beating without giving me a beating on and off the road.

Need to know a few things: Do you want a bolt on kit, or are you okay with cutting up the jeep? How big a tire do you plan to run? What type of wheeling , mud, rocks, mix..etc..

I am not much of a mechanic so i would have it installed for me. So unless there is a compelling reason to weld i would try to do a bolt on option.

I want to put 35" on it.

Probably a mix, more mud, less rock to start.

I went with a Rock Krawler JK 3.5" X Factor Mid Arm System Kit. Received the parts today. They look to be very high quality. It is a bolt on kit. No welding required. I have yet to receive my Bilstein 5100 shocks. I have them on my Dodge truck. Good shocks.

There are a lot of things to consider. First: how much money are you willing to spend. How are you going to use your Jeep. Ect.
