It's basically a matter of setting the switches up and down.

Take it one setting at a time.

I called them because I had the same problem. Ya know in school how different teachers teach different ways? Well AEV wrote the instructions in a style that I had to raise my hand (and call)! Lol

Once you call they will walk you through it and then and only then did it make sense for me. I took notes, but mice got into my glove box while camping (thanks friend for leaving food in there after I specifically said don't put food in there)! So I had to throw the instructions away due to mouse poop, pee, and being chewed up

^ that and as someone else mentioned just put the dip switches up or down according to what it is you'd like to do.

It's pretty simple.

Mine seemed pretty straight forward and easy for my 2013 JK. I just followed the directions. Perhaps call AEV tech support.

I have issues with my Procal, but I've come up with a workaround for my troubles. After getting new tires, I had a devil of a time setting the size. I'd follow the Procal instructions, got the two "honk" confirmation that the programming was confirmed, but it didn't change the size in reality as I checked my speed with a handheld GPS.

To fix, I had to reset everything to default per instructions, set vin as if unit was being programmed for the first time per instructions, then went through all the settings one at a time turning the key off between each programming change. I disabled my TPMS, set tire size and gear ratio one by one and it works fine that way for me.

I didn't want to reset everything since I was having a problem getting the input to be accepted, but the reset did the trick.

I found it best to find out the revs per mile on your tire from manufacturer or even Tirerak. Then divide it into 63,360 (inches/mile.) Then divide the result by pye (3.1416) and you will get exact tire height to set tabs on Procal
