Hey guys, I want to lower the PSI threshold on my 2013 Rubicon but I am unable to.
In 2013 the threshold came from the factory at 37. I follow the instructions to set the threshold at 30, plug the ProCal in, it honks twice...but nothing changes. I tried several times but it won't do it, and is driving me crazy!
I am able to use the ProCal for other things like DLRs, tire size, etc., but for some reason it ignores when I try to lower the PSI threshold.
one other thing pump your tires up higher than 37 and then bring the pressure down if the warnings do not go off after resetting the threshold and that will do the trick.
I had the same issue with Superchip Flashpaq. I was able to disable TPMS altogether but was not able to change the threshold.
After contacting Superchip they informed me that many people have reported the same and they cannot get behind why different Jeeps behave differently, for some it has worked for others it didn't!
One or two updates later the whole function was removed from device menu and only TPMS ON/OFF is now available.

disconnect your battery cables and hold the neg and positive cables together for a minute and them reconnect them and try again. some times the computer gets hung up. Also I know you own more than one wrangler is it possible you have reprogrammed one of them with the procal you are using? if you have then it is married to the other vehicle. If you are positive that the procal has only been used on the rig you are trying to program do the battery cable disconnect thing and try again.
It is the correct ProCal, I have them labeled. Also, when I plug the ProCal it honks twice in acknowledgement. When I use the incorrect ProCal it doesn't do anything.
Thanks, I may try the battery thing some other time; I leave for Canada bright and early.
I inflated the damn tires to 37 to shut up the warning.
Set everything back to factory with the procal and start over. Same issue. Couldn't get it to set right. I had to do that on my 2014 and it worked fine after that.
it takes 5 minutes to disconnect the battery cables and touch them together. that is what the inventor of the device recommended to me. I live 5 minutes from their R&D shop the inventor is the owners brother. If that does not work you might email or AEV they are responsive most of the time.
Hey Aldo - I've got a 2015 with the Procal and it works fine, but I've seen what you described and I disable TPMs completely with the Procal then drive it, then reset it to the desired psi.
