AEV Supercharger Kit

Hello everyone.

Does anyone have tried this Supercharger?

AEV Conversions 40307060AA - AEV Supercharger Kit By Magnuson for 07-11 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK with 3.8L & LHD - Quadratec

From reading that, it seems like you'd be spending over 6 grand just to make around the same amount of hp as the 3.6 does. So unless you are super invested in your current Jeep, I don't see that expense being worth it. Might as well sell yours and put that extra 6k towards a newer one. Or, if you want to keep yours, put the money towards a V8 engine swap.

I just personally couldn't see spending so much for so little.

Thank for your opinion. I do agree with your idea.

Anyone else? Is there somebody who has already trued this Supercharger?

A shout out for PF!

The views in this thread are dead on, if your after power, start with a pentastar. The engine alone will be good, when you dump in the SC there will be a snarling demon under your hood.
