AEV tire carrier installed, bolt wont go back into the water tank

Just had the AEV tire carrier installed onto my JK with the AEV rear bumper. I have had the rear bumper on for a few months.. After the install, there Is one bolt that goes into the water tank on the right side that will not go in the whole way? It's almost as If the washer on the inside of the tank Is spinning... Ha anyone else ran into this? Is there a fix?

Try asking on the AEV Forum. You may be able to get a response from AEV.

So you "had" it installed. The shop that did the work should make it right. Said bolt must have been in all the way for the last 3 months.

Good point. It didn't catch that he had it installed. I would do what dwindeck recommends.

The dealer that installed It kind of left me hanging. I have a funny feeling that the water tank isnt properly aligned making the 3rd bolt go in crooked. I'm a bit fussy and this is driving me nuts! I wish I lived close to Michigan....
