If you want to be different don't buy Pintlers...or Savegres for that matter.
They are my 2 favorite wheels so going to be one or the other just not sure which or which color. Originally was set on the Pintlers but the Savegres are really growing on me. Lots of people don't like AEV but they started right down the street from me and I personally think they look good. Just not sure which ones lol.
They are nice wheels, sure. You said yourself you see a lot of them locally. I don't personally get the appeal of them but its your rig and your money. You said you have a white Jeep. My personal advice would be to get the wheel you like the best, and paint it white. I have white wheels on a white Jeep so I'm a little biased. I get a lot of compliments on it.
I don't mean to be mean, but this has to be the most often asked question on automotive forums:
"Can you help me choose __________ (insert aftermarket product here)?
While I can appreciate your color blindness, the fact remains you are asking for group consensus on what should be a personal vision of your vehicle.
If you can't decide on how to personalize your Jeep, just don't. It won't be yours.
While I appreciate your opinion I still want to know what the general population thinks looks best. They look the same to me so when it comes time to resell I want to know what will be more eye catching. has nothing to do with personalizing it.
Personally I love the new Rubicon wheels and would pick up a set on the cheap, but they don't offer the backspacing to run a bigger tire.
that and I wish they were just a bit wider. I personally love how they look just wish they were a bit wider and I did not have to run spacers with them. I run quality spidertrax spacers but really prefer the AEV 5.2" backspacing.
I like the both wheels but the Savegre design is more contemporary and in the long run may be just a trend. The Pintler design is timeless and the Argent color provides more contrast highlighting the wheels. If resale value is important, I would go with that combination. Used AEV wheels are in high demand so if you keep your stock units you can always sell them separately.
