After Market in-dash navigation units

I was not inclined to pay for the 430 or certainly not the 730 factory installed head units since I felt they were too expensive for what they are. Been looking at some aftermarket choices. I see that Q'tech sells a Kenwood but they are also way over priced compared to Crutchfield or Amazon and don't have very good reviews either.

So...has anyone found one that they really like. Any that I see online will require an added Sirius tuner. I frankly dunno if I'll renew my Sirius subscription after my year is up anyway. I have it on my 06 Dodge but don't activate it unless I'm going on a trip. I mostly find myself listening to local talk stuff.

I've always been partial the the Pioneer AVIC series, particularly the Z1.
