aftermarket install theft question

hello! i installed a GPS double din in my 2011 and i was wondering if theres anyway of securing (theft) the GPS without having to install an alarm system just having two transmitters on a key chain kills me. so is there anyway that i can secure the GPS so it will make it harder for someone to take it. i have the factory alarm it'll go off as long as you open the door.

If they want it, they'll get it.

The only time I felt safe leaving anything of value in my jeep was when I had a hard top on and a paging alarm.

Hiding it might help.

Hey check out this part from Tuffy through Quadratec;
160-08 - Tuffy Security Products Flip-n-Lock MyGig/Stereo Cover in Dark Slate for 07-10 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec
This should at least offer some piece of mind. Why break it if you can't see whats in there right?
I would still consider some sort of impact alarm system. I'm in the same boat but I keep my JK in the garage most of the time unless i am at work. I was also thinking about this set up for summer time it will shield the screen as well. Only down side is its kinda ugly, lol. Hope this helps.

Don't think that'll fit the 2011, they redesigned that part of the dash...

I use an after market GPS that removes to out-of-sight storage. And I have pretty decent insurance on my trinkets as well.
