Aftermarket Sunrider Soft Top?

If this has been answered before, I apologize, but I can't find it.

I am looking at getting a JK with a hard top and want to get an aftermarket soft top for it. However, it doesn't look like any of the aftermarket soft tops include the Sunrider feature that the factory soft top has. Can anyone tell me if any of the aftermarket tops can be opened Sunrider style, like the factory tops?

Why would you wanna buy a soft top just for the sunrider feature. You already have that feature with your 2500.00 freedom top. Just buy a bikini top for trail days and stick with your hard top.

I don't want the soft top just for the sunrider feature. I am just looking for a soft top for my Jeep. Finding an aftermarket soft top with the sunrider feature would be a bonus, but if none of them have that feature, that wouldn't prevent me from getting one at all. I only need the hard top for the winter months when the cold and snow might damage my soft top and the hard top's ability to open in the front will be great for those one-off warm sunny days here in March that are followed by 6" of snow the next day. I want the soft top for the spring/summer/fall months so I can go topless as much as possible while still having protection from the elements when needed, unlike bikini tops I've seen (showing up to work soaked from rain would be frowned upon where I work).

Also, my wife still doesn't understand why I even want a Jeep at all and isn't that eager to ride in it at this point. She love sunroofs in cars but convertibles annoy her because of her hair getting in her face. When it's just me, I will be topless as much as possible, but when she's with me I have a feeling that until she likes my Jeep topless as well, being able to just use the sunrider when she has to ride with me would be a good compromise.

I know it doesn't take terribly long to fully open and close the soft top (about 5-8 minutes from what I've read), but having only a 10-15 min commute means taking the soft top fully down and back up again would basically double my commute time. I'm not a morning person and I don't like getting up early, so going out to the Jeep on a day that looks like it's going to be rainy and spending less than a minute opening the sunrider and then another minute once I get to work to close is very appealing. On sunny days I would just spend the extra 5 minutes and leave the top fully down all day, and probably leave it like that for multiple days at a time so I didn't have to deal with it each morning.

Taking off the soft top and putting on the hard top just to have the sunrider feature on a hot summer day is simply not an option I am even considering at this point given how much of a pain it seems installing/uninstalling a hard top is. I would rather have a soft top that could only be fully opened or closed without the sunrider feature at all rather than deal with that.

I might get a bikini top for it eventually, but this will be my DD and I don't have a covered parking spot at home or work, so I want to be able to close it up completely to deal with rain if necessary. A bikini top is a "nice to have", but I have no plans to get one for now.

Best top makes a replacement sunrider top for the JK. Question answered.

Look around ebay and Craigslist. Especially this time of year. Folks sell their factory tops and hardware all the time (for the life of me, I'll never understand why). You can always sell the hard top and use the softie year round. They are fine with rain and snow....
