Large(ish) rocks, no. But smaller debris can be deflected by the updraft it creates. Hence, why it keeps bugs off your windshield.

I've got one on my Dodge Ram, and I've had virtually zero rock strikes on the windshield. the real difference is in the windshield angle. Any engineers want to comment on this one?

Thanks Verdugan. I def wasn't aware we could find those anywhere, and I wasn't even sure they were decals. I thought maybe they were a strange glass paint.

Me too until i saw it posted in here. One of the members (Vassily from Ukraine or something like that) also sells a decal that has the little jeep going all across the windshield instead of just one.)

remember gorilla glue must be used with water as it's a catalyst to the glue
By it self gorilla glue will always fail

Was just thinking about this last night

How does the windshield handle cleaning/bug splatters? Is it better, worse, same as glass?

Was wondering last night as I drove home and could literally see the bugs committing suicide as I drove. The bugs are so bad it seems like I have to clean it each time I drive it this year.

Next rock attack on the windshield I will be getting one of these windshields.

Yeah, I have the same issued. I guess its about the same as glass. Maybe dead bug smear is worse. Cleaning is just as easy. I haven't had anything stick so hard that I had to do anything more to clean it.

Any updates to this? How's it been long term in the heat and humidity of Houston?
Thanks.

I have had no problems. Humidity has not been a factor.

Heater cracking screen?

Hi I have been reading this thread and looking at the videos, loved it. I am about to change the screen twice in a year. both times I never saw anything, first time it was cold frost and that heater kicks it out! especially in one or two areas where the cracks show up (bottom left and right of centre) Is it possible many of these crack are due to the extreme heat pumped out (I love the heat and crack it up to Red) I may now get this screen, Looks good. also anyone know how to upload a profile pic it just re-directs me.
