Air Intake, Headers, High Flow Exhaust (WORTH IT?)

I am looking into modding my JK with an Airaid performance intake, some performance headers, and a high flow exhaust to open up the airflow in my Jeep.

The $1,000+ Question: Is it worth it?

I have heard that these modifications, when used together, have both MPG and power boosts...what is the word on the street?

I'm a new Jeep owner, so I hope this question doesn't sound misguided or naive.

Thanks...

Short answer: no.

At the end of the day you're still running a 3.8 V6. The small small performance gain really isn't worth the money.

You'd be trying to "open up airflow" on a system that is not restricted.
