Air Sensor removal?

Getting ready for my Airraid to arrive Thursday, I need a little help advise on removing the air sensor from the intake.

I see a red clip,, guess that pulls up then the senosr removes,,, and also need to remove the other part from the intake tube. Think I read it just kinda twists out.

So how does this red clip come off? pull up,, slide out?

Thanks.

Sorry buddy, I can't help because I didn't put one of those dumb things on my Jeep. I've been wasting money on tires, lift, and armor for OFF road driving. Let us know if it makes a cool vvvvrrrrrooooommmmm noise though.

just take the inlet tube off and smash yourself in the head with it for a while, the air sensor will fall out eventually.

Slide the rear clip back toward where the wire goes in, then squeeze the release just behind the red clip and the connector will come off. If you are ever intending on taking it anywhere near water you are making a big mistake. The intake will suck water in faster than you can react to. It will hydro lock the engine and can destroy it and will cost you big bucks to have repaired.

This forum is here for entertainment and sharing knowledge. Not bashing each other or making rude statements. There are rules and they need to be followed by all users period.

From the rules....
Respect Each Other: Our underlying philosophy is that we want The Wrangler Forum to be an online reflection of the wheeling community. Treat each other with respect just as you would on the road. Talking smack or challenging others' points of view and opinions is fine as long as you do so in a respectful manner.

Here are some general guidelines that we expect you to follow:

• Do not engage in personal attacks.
• Do not post libelous remarks or directly misleading information.
• Do not post the same discussion topic more than once or in many forums.
• Please post topics in their proper forums.
• Do not take every opportunity to express your disagreement, incite argument, insult each other, or fan flames. Voice you opinion respectfully and then let it go.
• We will not tolerate bigotry in any form, including posts intended to incite expressions of such bigotry from others.
• This is a sport dominated in numbers by men; as such the Forum can easily take on a little too much of a "boys club" tone. We do have a lot of women (members) visiting and posting, we want them to feel welcome at our party. Rule of thumb: if you wouldn't say it to your grandmother you probably shouldn't post it on the Forum either.
• Posts containing vulgar language that are overly explicit or obscene, images or links to websites with adult content/images are not allowed.
• Trolling and/or Cyber-bullying are NOT allowed and grounds for account restriction.
• Be mindful of yourself and others. This forum is not a democracy; it is privately owned and we make the rules. If rules are violated we retain the right at our discretion to remove, edit or delete posts and if necessary ban or remove members. Any abuse toward our staff may/will result in immediate suspension of your account. Complaints about moderator decisions may not be made in posts; instead send a private message to a moderator. If a moderator deletes or edits one of your posts and you disagree with the action, contact the moderator concerned. Do not repost deleted material.
• Fair warning; discussions about politics and religion are likely to be closed or removed if they turn into flame fests.

If anyone has issues with the Forum's Community Rules then please don't post or find another forum for your rude entertainment.

^^^^^^^^^ This kind of garbage makes me want to change forums.^^^^^^^^^^

People are just asking for a little help, if you don't know or don't have any real suggestions then please don't reply. And to add useful information to this post a CAI with tends to have a higher air flow is extremely useful for high altitude driving, which is where some of the best off road driving can be found.

Chill out dude. It was a joke between 2 friends. Everyone but you is well aware that he neither drives off road, (except for the little mud puddle) nor lives in high altitude.

That should get it set up for the big test, might even add to the sound quality.
