Airbag Warning Light

Last 2 days my airbag warning light has been illuminated, do I guess I'll be making an appt at the stealership to have it checked.

Anyone else have this and/or have knowledge of a recall... or maybe know why this is happening? I checked the seat sensor to ensure it was still connected & it is, but that's about all I could do that I'm aware of...

I had mine do the same thing at about 3k miles. They ultimately replaced the sensor after trying the connector.....

Mine has been doing the same thing three weeks in with 70k miles. Every time i take a sharp turn it flashes, believe its the sensor just need to know where to fix it or change it out. don't want to bring it to the dealer cause I'm not dealer friendly right now.

I had the light come on once(somewhere under 2500 miles). I turned the jeep off at the next light tried to turn it back on and nothing happened. So after cussing a few times I put it in park(oops) and turned it on and no more light since.

True story

Clockspring failure. Chrysler sent a letter to us a while back extending the warranty to 10yrs/150K miles.

Found the issue today. It appears the wiring from the airbag sensor under the driver seat must have gotten caught in the rail during seat adjustment, subsequently severing the wiring. I repaired it and the light is out.

Thanks for the replies. I too was thinking it was the clock spring issue and was prepared to contact the dealer today, until I found the problem this morning.
