What about towing with these? Will they retain the factory hitch?

Not bad. I would consider it if it weren't for "ACE" cut out in the bumper.

I'm not a fan of decals & logos.

The bumpers almost look like they belong on an MRAP. That's a good thing!

I like the ACE cutout on the bumper. It's an excuse to have a company name on the wrangler without putting lame stickers on

This will work with a stand alone carrier. That will be next after the aluminum front.

How close strength-wise does the aluminum bumper come to your steel version? Will it handle typical bumps into tree trunks without a problem like your steel version? The weight savings is desirable but I like the idea that one could knock a brick wall over with your steel bumpers (friend did that) and suffer only a scratch. Looks great though!

Will these be available with a finish that matches your front bumper?

I wonder how tough they really are. If you drop the rear end on a ledge will the bumper protect the rear quarter panel or bend up into the panel. Any thoughts? Any idea how thick the material is that it's made out of? and will there be any tow/pull attachment points for "D" rings?

Will they be simple bolt on or need modifications to install?

These will have the same installation as the steel. Here is an installation video

Installation Videos

Disregard the tire carrier portion of the video.

Installed the ACE JK Pro Series Bumper w/Tire Carrier and am VERY happy with it. However, tried unsuccessfully to splice into the rear back-up light wiring in the tail light compartment. Can PM or post exactly how to connect this vs. installing a switch in the cab? The installation video references this is that they did but they did not show that part of the installation. Also, the wiring in the tail light compartment seems like a much smaller gauge compared to the bumper lights. Any concern with that? Thanks.

The rotopax holders are attached to custom mounts on the bars in the pictures above.

MnJK give me a call at the shop and i will walk you through this. Basically the black goes to black and the red goes to white at the reverse light. We have been running lights off of this setup for 2 years without any issues.

Thank you
AJ

Since it is Aluminum I assume there will not be a tire carrier or recovery "D" rings. May be a deal killer then. But dang, 30lbs, you realy know how to stress a guy.
