Yeah, ATX makes some hot wheels.

Their site didn't list sizes on my computer, either. Don't know why.

Try this site...this is where I bought mine from:

www.rimzoneonline.com -

And some other peeps that carry ATX wheels:

Ah....

You have to list the vehicle. But unlike other sites it still gives you a range, Not just what is stock

Yeah, I hate when they do the stock crap.

Are you still trying to figure out a tire/wheel combo, or are you set?

Nope.

All the tires I want are NIS w/ no ETA

I see Rimz has the BFkm2 but hefty on the price. Plus wheels

Maybe a phone call and some haggling will do... Hard to beat DTD it seams.

That's how my first two choices were...both Pro Comps. A guy at Rimz actually recommended the ATX wheels to me. I'd never heard of em. When I look back on it now I'm glad I couldn't get either of the Pro Comps.

Nothing sticks to the teflon ATX wheels...they're the John Gotti of rims.

That Jeep is incredible. It's Jeeps like this which are working to change my mind on 4 door wranglers.

Very unusual for WI this time of year...probably a cruel tease, since we'll more than likely have at least one more snowstorm before spring fully arrives.

But man, doors and top off is friggin awesome! It was really windy, so after running a few errands I came back and put the bikini on over the front seats. That helped a little. Still, it's like driving a big-ass go kart!

And there's a good bit of snowmelt on the roads, so I got sprayed a few times. It felt great! How could anybody not love this vehicle?

Unreal.

Almost ran outta light, but that's the best time for photos:

Would've put the Safari Straps on today, as well, but I had to do a little fab work on one of the rock door's hinge pins. Maybe tomorrow.
I thought of this thread today as I drove home from the airport after my solo flight today...music blaring and weather is so great here in ATX. I love my jeep!!!

I really want some half doors, yours look great, I'm guessing you did your research, why'd you decide on those?

I looked at several different types, and narrowed it down to the Body Armors (on my Jeep) and the High Rock Element doors. I went with the BA's because I couldn't find any complaints about their powder coating, I liked the simple latches, and I thought the canvas webbing would complement the Safari Straps I'd ordered.

Basically, you just attach the latches, drop the doors into the hinges, tighten the hinge pin nuts and attach the canvas limiting straps.

Front-facing view of latch. Fully adjustable...just slide up or down to fit the latch to the door hook, and bolt er down.

Rear-facing view of latch, and how you open it.

If you're interested in half doors, you should take a look at the High Rock Element doors...I didn't want all the extra stuff that came with those. I like my cages with a minimum of amenities.

Here's a link to the Element doors. Check out all the "recommended" items that can go with these at the bottom of the product page. These can be color-matched, and you can get metal skins for em, uppers, carry pouches...I forget what all else.

I read somewhere that the half doors that you got don't rattle, like the rest, have you heard that?

Mine only rattle if I nail a big pothole...usually if my spare rattles, one or more of the doors rattles, as well. But it takes a pretty good hit for it to happen.

Normal driving...no problem.

They're pretty nice...I think you'll like em. As I said in another post, I bought mine mainly to help contain munchkins. But after putting em on, I'll probably leave em on all summer, unless it's gonna pour rain or something.

Precisely. Mine are going on in nice weather mainly to contain my munchkins (er, sons - 4 and 6) on the way to the beach to go surf fishing/swimming. I just don't like the thought of nothing there if one of them has a lapse of judgement and unbuckles his seatbelt while moving. They've never done it, but they know how.

Plus, those doors look killer, which is always a plus for a newly single gentleman like myself.

Yup, I've got 14 nieces and nephews. The older ones are fine, but the younger ones...

Plus I'd rather not have a Chicken McNugget or something fly out and nail a State Trooper's windshield, if I can prevent it.

I had two things that were a must when choosing wheels, easy to clean and black or charcoal in color. I've got the ATX Artillary wheels in Teflon and LOVE them!!

I've only had them for two weeks, but notice after a big rain and the crap on the road they are still clean. Nothing does stick to them, it's pretty nice.
