All I can say is: Wow

It hit 60º here today, so I decided to take the doors and top off. Then I looked at the forecast, and saw it's supposed to be even warmer tomorrow, and flirt with the 70's next week. So I put on the rock doors, just for the hell of it.

Very unusual for WI this time of year...probably a cruel tease, since we'll more than likely have at least one more snowstorm before spring fully arrives.

But man, doors and top off is friggin awesome! It was really windy, so after running a few errands I came back and put the bikini on over the front seats. That helped a little. Still, it's like driving a big-ass go kart!

And there's a good bit of snowmelt on the roads, so I got sprayed a few times. It felt great! How could anybody not love this vehicle?

Unreal.

Almost ran outta light, but that's the best time for photos:

Would've put the Safari Straps on today, as well, but I had to do a little fab work on one of the rock door's hinge pins. Maybe tomorrow.

Looks great! Can't wait to get the top and doors off again. Calling for high 70s late this week.

1) damn good looking jeep. Worth the money you've out into her so far 2) taking doors and top (especially doors) off for first time is awesome. Obviously off road capability for price/stock is great but IMO that freedom is the biggest reason for the hard core fans and the diversity of drivers. One of the few vehicles left with "soul"

That is a good looking Jeep, I'm jealous.
It will hit a high of about 20 today.
We went down yesterday to have the studded snows mounted.
It will be a couple of months before we can leave the top home.

What I like about KB is his sense of subtlety . . .

Slick looking jeep man, can't be denied.

Haha...Thanks.

You're right, subtlety isn't my forté. Although I CAN be diplomatic on occasion. If I'm tired.

Thank you. Kinda vacillated on buying them, but then figured they'd at least keep my munchkin nieces and nephews from, say, trying to ride old school fire engine style when I visit.
