Am I missing anything? (newb)

I've decided on the Rock Krawler 2.5" stock mod lift, Bilstein shocks, and 35" duratracs with 16" Chaos 5 wheels. I have a few questions with this...

1) Will I need anything else with this lift at this time? I don't have a lot of cash and this lift looks perfect for what I want to do. I just want to mak sure the lift/shock combo will work and I am not missing anything.

2) Will the 35's with alloy wheels be too much for the stock carrier? If no, I'm good. If yes, does anyone have a cheap suggestion to get me by without doing damage?

3) I have stock 3.21's. I know everyone hates these but will 35's really destroy the ride of the Jeep?

4) and finally; is there anything I need to be careful of or worry about with this? Any small issues I should be weary of? If the build looks good I'll be buying this week.

you should be fine for now... but i would be thinking about a grade 8 bolt kit..

as for the wheel on the tailgate, the smittybilt oversized tire carrier, is a decent short term solution. i ran one for about a year with a similar wheel and tire combo (including wheeling..) but you're going to want something a bit more stout... it always concerned me.

3.21s are going to suck... period - but you'll get used to it. if you wheel - you'll be replacing gears sooner than you think.

1) Your 2.5 lift with bilstein shocks should be enough for the lift, you don't need anyth else.

2) I have 35" on my stock carrier and im fine, but you will need smittybilt tire relocation bracket-$50.

3) I have Pentastar 3.6 and auto with 3.21 and it is okay for me. I might regear it in couple of years, but for now im happy the way it is.

4) You should be good with this set up. After i put 35" with 2.5 lift jeep has turned totally different. Couldn't be any happier.

Seems to me most complaints for 35" with 3.21 come from manual trans. If you have the new engine with auto, its not that bad at all.

OP has the 3.8L engine... i have the 3.8L, was running 3.73s with an auto and 35s, they were terrible... but i managed for about a year and a half. then i swapped to a 4.88 and 37s and a part of me thinks i should've probably gone to a 5.13

A buddy of mine has the 3.8 with 35's and the 3.73's in an auto and all he gets is 200 miles per tank all highway.

Depending on the kit, you may need an exhaust spacer and bump stops. I was suggested to get the RK 2.5 Flex kit and I would need to add those per Jason @ Krawloff-road. Very knowledgable guy! He gives pretty good prices too

You'll need to get a ProCal to adjust your speedo and shift point. About $159

I just installed the 2.5" flex kit with Rancho shocks. You are probably going to need bump stops and the exhaust spacer if you have a 2012/13. Oh, and the Procal to assist with steering correction and speedometer.
