Well if that's the case ... +1 for me!

The sad part is, I'd like to contribute more but I really don't have much to contribute about "will this mod work on my jeep" or "why doesn't my jeep work right"... I wish I had 30 years of jeep experience but that's just not the case at this point. It is a work in progress however... 29.5 to go

RazorbackMac,

As time goes on and you try more with your jeep, that'll change. Trust me.

Heck, my jeep and I get closer everytime I choose to put $75 in my tank just to enjoy the ride when I could put $12 in my motorcycle and go the same distance.. Some people at work call me dumb for "wasting so much money on what is just a tool to enable me to get from A to B" but needless to say, snow days and torrential storms haven't prevented me from getting to work (or to the best fishing spots ) like my hybrid driving coworkers

Honestly, I'm either way off the mark here or I am your typical Jeeper... I want the entire aftermarket but money is a thing that trickles in at my house.. I have a wish list that would fill the staples center but it's a piece by piece process.. If I could just find a way to stop wasting money on useless stuff.. Like food and electric, I'd be that much closer..

Dang, you're officially a jeeper. Just took a little while to get it out of you. I have a similar problem. That's why I just got the cheapest winch I could find and installed on my stock bumper instead of purchasing an uber bumper....one step at a time. It's the way of the jeep. Just Empty Every Pocket.

Quite honestly, I'd love to dump the bike on anyone that would take it but no one I know seems to have $6k or is interested in getting a loan. I'd sell it for less if I could but I'm learning the hard way how much faster a motorcycle depreciates than a car.

These are what I got when I got the jeep in case I needed to play in the mud if.. I mean after, I get stuck in the mud... However, my plan soon went to shambles when i found out the mud it takes to get the jeep stuck would come right up over the top of those bad boys

I've only had my jeep a few months and it is pretty much stock. I have no mechanical knowledge or real experience...but that doesn't stop me from posting . You just have to read the forum and then regurgitate what you learn when someone asks a questions. Then, when you have been here long enough you just start telling people to use the search!

I want to know, has anyone taken the time to talk with the jeep to find out what it wants? Geeze... no one thinks about the jeeps feelings in all this. What if the jeep wants a lift or a tuck?

So the OP is here to stir the pot (the pity pot) and then attack the members that actually CONTRIBUTE USEFUL INFORMATION all the time to the forum, i.e. JIMBOX?

Barf me.

I change my vote from Jeeper to Creeper.

I can almost guarantee you 9 out of 10 lifted Jeeps will either never see off-roading that necessitates the lift, or even go off-road at all. For the off-roading I do, I don't need a lift, the JK is plenty capable stock.
I ask people this all the time: Who is more of a "real Jeeper", the guy who drives his Jeep back and forth to work all week, to the grocery store, to the (gasp) mall and takes it wheeling on the weekends, or the guy who drives his modded-to-the-hilt Jeep maybe once a week and daily drives some POS he hates or something cushy because his Jeep is too harsh?
Seeking approval from others is always going to leave you disappointed in the end.

Now, back to my regularly scheduled thread derailing........
