Annoyances...

I love my new Jeep JK and everything etc... 2 only things that really annoy the crap out of me on it are the fact that;

1) Why Jeep couldnt make the area under the doors look finished???, I just think every JK I see from a 22k one to a 38k Rubi looks like its unfinished under the doors.

2) That CORNER piece of the body that friggin sticks out behind the wheel well /door, why couldnt they just shave that unsigltly piece of body off? To top it off its two pieces of sheet metal sandwiched together with a hole in it so road salt, grime, and dirt and get in there and eat away your body.

Just plain not paying attention to detail IMO.

Addressing these to potential body rot areas will be my next focus of mods.

The only annoyance that I remember having, was I had a sqeaky cowl. It probably still sqeaks, but I don't notice it anymore.

Door sill guards will fix the first one. The second one gets covered up with rock rails. That "hole" is one of the holes for bolting them on.

No not the Door sil ...Im saying about 2 inches under the door on the outside of the vehicle where you see bolts etc where the under carriage meets the body. Although i already bought sil guards to fix the door look.

Yep the black plastic door sills cover up the bolt in the door jam perfectly.

I sort of agree with the pinch seam - but only as far as asthetics. Since mine is Dozer, that little piece sticks out like a sore thumb under the black side step. I may paint it black to hide it.

Are you talking about the pinch seam? Isn't that covered up by your sidesteps?

I have the Mopar sill guards, but I wish they wrapped farther to the inside completely covering the metal lip. The lower rocker panel doesn't bother me, except how far the rear pinch protrudes (I have yet to trim mine).

It annoys me that the rubi rock rails stick into the rear wheel wells so much.

A 4" angle grinder will make quick work of that one day though.
