It sure didn't take much of an obstacle, to stop the four door, in it's tracks. Oh well, it will be a nice vehicle to get the kids to soccer practice.

lol thats what i thought...the four door got caught and stopped easily...and i think the 4 door is absolutely horrendous (looks wise)...the 4 door is so ugly to me although the 2 door doesn't look to bad from the side...2 door actually looks real good from the side view

The video clip may reviel a problem with the longer wheel base. It looks as though it will require more ground clearance than that of the shorter wheel base Jeeps to do any type of wheeling... therefore more lift and bigger tires just to keep up with the stock Jeeps.

Between soccer practice and the kind of wheeling you guys do is a whole world of fishing and hunting and towing little trailers, etc.

I had to laugh at your post, because when I watched the video I thought, "Wow...that thing is unstoppable." :-)

My current off-roader is pushed to it's limits and a 4dr Wrangler is a HUGE improvement for me.

I look forward to learning from you guys.

Cool vid i wana be there.. thats the kind of wheelin im looking to do in the near future, i havent had my Jeep for very long and havent had the chance yet. I love the way my JK 2dr looks all the way around and a lifted 4dr looks great. As for an FJ, Japan can take it back for all i care.

A 4 door with proper lift and tires can actually be useful because of lateral stability and the ability to "get a run" at high obstacles between the front and rear tires. The stock 4 doors are garbage though because the breakover angle is crap. Those guys drive those jeeps like girls though, he made that trail look 100x harder because he was doing .5mph.

4 dr not bad on trails. just needs more experience off road with the longer wheel base. lift and the right tires would make a world of differance.

Hmmm, lift and tires, not low COG?
