Another bumper question Smittybilt

I'm finally ready to get a bumper, but I'm a bit lost as to what to get. For those that don't know, I don't do any real hard core off-roading/rock crawling. My Jeep is my DD and is used on hunting trails. I may eventually put a winch on the vehicle. Also, being that it's a DD, I'm looking for light weight. My budget is around $400. I'm interested in something with no drilling, so I can simply pop off the original bumper and put the new one in place. I'd like to keep my factory fog lights if possible.

I had been considering going with an Olympic three hoop tube, but I don't see a lot of pics with those bumpers on your rides and what I have read is they are suspect in quality. I'm now looking at this one from Smittybuilt. I'm looking for a basic bumper, and a little extra...plus I really like the look of this. It doesn't appear to offer a place to put the factory fogs though. Would I be able to disconnect the factory fogs from their wires and then just put aftermarket lights on the bumper and attach them to the wiring already in place?

Obviously I'm a bit of a newb, but want to do this right.

I've been kooking at bumpers too. From what I have read here, nothing about a Smittybuilt is easy to install. Holes don't line up etc. Looked at a new Warn bumper. It's about $700.00 but probably much better quality. Don't know how easy it is to install.

I actually have one that's simliar to that and it's Smitty (XRC brand). It's pretty solid, and ok.

Not bad for the price range at least.

I had a xrc rear bumper with tire carrier. Loved that thing. When I installed it on my 03 rubicon I think it actually straitened out my frame. I had to drop the tank to get a couple of bolts in. But it made for a sturdy install. never rattled and opened with ease. I plan on getting the same thing for my new 2012 rubicon. The jk version doesnt have the lock open pin. That was a really nice feature on the tj version. I also got a great deal on mine. hope I can find a s good a deal when I buy my next one.
