Anti-siphon

Do all 2013 JKU's have an anti-siphon valve on the gas tank?

We have someone siphoning gas out of my wife's ford focus at night. They haven't siphoned my jeep yet, I don't think. Was wondering if this valve was stopping them..

For real? Wow. Where do you live - may be worth considering moving if they are desperate enough to be sucking gas out of parked vehicles.

Boo at them! I hope someone comes along with the technical knowledge who knows the real answer to your question. I personally hope they catch the little b*stards for you and put them out of circulation!

They pulled gas out of a focus? Don't those only have like a 10-12 gallon tank?

Because we have such lovely off road capable jeeps, all wranglers have rollover valves where the tank meets the filler neck. You can't get a hose past that without breaking it but its not impossible to break. You would just need a stiff hose and some force. Just make sure they don't drill your tank. There is unfortunately a very convenient spot for that at the back of the tank

Here in New Mexico they have been drilling the gas tanks and taking it from underneath. Hope you catch the perps as they will be back.

Put a couple of these next to your filler door at night:

Thanks all. This was the first time but if it happens again, I am putting up a camera that will send an alert to my phone. I already have a great plan in mind so it never happens again!!

Unfortunately we have way too many liberals in California to use one of those; that is why I asked about the pellet rifle. It's quiet and the thief wont know where it came from.

I caught a couple punks siphoning my gas years ago. They didn't hear me coming.

His head bounced off the box of my truck after a little assistance from my foot, and he dropped like a sack of flour.

Other kid took off like lightning.

Another boot to his ribs as a reminder

As I poured my gas back, I thanked him for the new JC as he slowly picked himself up. Had he stayed much longer, I'd probably beat him with the hose too
