Anvil or Billet

Hey, got a dilemma. Going to order my 10A JKU tomorrow. My dilemma is which color, Anvil or Billet? Originally thought Anvil, but in some pictures it looks almost baby blueish. So leaning towards Billet. Decisions, decisions. Anyways, can someone please post pics of each to help in deciding. Been browsing the 10A forum, but with over 10k posts, it is painful to find pictures without all the comments. Much appreciated for those who post your pics.

Anvil with red leather.

It is currently only available to 10A's and very unique.

Billet looks good!!

As for Anvil with red, I understand the limited to 10A, that's why I am stuck between the two, just can't decide if the "baby blueish" is to much or if it isn't, thus the request for actual pics of both from owners, not the promotional ones. Trying to get a better realistic point of view. Then once I decide on a color comes the fun of waiting for the build, yeaaaa!!! ( insert sarcasm here) HEHE!

Billet was my second choice, but I ordered a Black 10a.

I think the Anvil with red is the best color combo on a jeep right now.

Well, I have a Billet JKU sport and I tried to get Chrysler to make me an anvil one...no go.. With that said, I think the anvil is a really cool color and will look great on one that's at least lifted a little with tires, etc.. totally stock, it may look a little wimpy? Just a thought...
I really love my Billet, though...really nice color in person. Very happy with it.

I was in the same boat and switched my order from billet to anvil/red combo in the end. Based on some of the pictures I was worried that it would end up looking like a robins egg. I have to say that none of the pictures do anvil justice. Anvil is an incredible paint color due to the change it takes in different light. It's a battleship grey.. When it's sunny it looks a little blue b/c of the sky. I couldn't be happier with the color and am glad I changed my order. The red seats really set the combo off too.

Anvil will be a more unique color than Billet

You've answered your own question without knowing it. The key word is in bold. Anvil never looks baby blue in real life. Just like the seats don't look flame red. It's all in the camera. Should have see everyone freaking out in the 10A thread about what Anvil really looked like.

BTW Anvil is my vote. Nothing wrong with billet though, it looks nice. I just found Anvil to be far more unique and after having mine for over a week now I can say for certain it is and it looks great.

They are both great new colors that only can be judged truly in person. They change in different lights which is cool. A overcast day or at night my Billett looks three to four shades darker.
I think three to four years from now i might be tired of Anvil but Billett will always work with everything I do to my Wrangler.

I thought I liked Anvil, but I actually saw a 10a Anvil JKU on the road yesterday. At first from a distance it looked light almost baby blue in the light of the overcast day. It looked awful. So, I would go Billet or Black.

Anvil. Even the name is better. Hell you use Anvils to shape billets of metal!

I love how the color changes dependent on ambient lighting conditions. It is a strong color without having to be loud, or resort to metal flake (cough... Billet... cough) to look good.

Im bias on Anvil (as you can tell in my sig)
My main reason for getting it (which I hope turns out to be the case) is that it is limited to the 10A

Black, White and I think Billet (could be wrong on the Billet) is available to other JKUR

I'm a Billet owner but I would go with Anvil. I love how the Billet looks but the Anvil would just add another level of uniqueness.

Thanks Parker for adding the photos you have... still trying to decide, leaning more towards billet, I truely would like to see an Anvil in person, but not one in my area that I know of. Going off the pics is hard, but at least it gives me an idea.
For those reading, I understand the uniqueness of Anvil, but in itself the 10A is unique.
Thanks for your opinions and the photos so far, please keep em coming, trying to get mine ordered today or tomorrow, Friday at the ABSOLUTE latest, I hope...

Funny you mention that, I have a Commando Green JKUR currently, but can't seem to pass up the 10A. Wish the 10A came in Commando Green, this decision would be SO much easier.

If you do the Billet, make sure you go with the red seats so you can add more uniqueness to it.
You cant go wrong either way.

I just like how the Anvil changes based on lighting.
At night it looks dark grey, dead sunlight you see the Anvil color, etc

But black looks good on every offroad jeep. Most pep that get bright colors don't keep them long cause they get sick of color. Mostly young kids and women drive fruity colors
