My buddy gave me his Rubi shocks for my Sahara. While easy to install, it proved to be a waste of time and effort. It was well worth the $ to install Ranchos on my 08JK. Had I known how good they worked, I would have done it when I purchased at 15000, rather than wait a couple years.

In my instance, the Rubi shocks, although virtually new, did NOT work well on stutter-bump gravel roads and cobblestone pavement. I couldn't give them away & eventually just trashed them.

Speaking of which: I have a set of Rubicon shocks (with about 10,000 miles on them) sitting in my garage here in Los Angeles; if anyone local is interested to pick them up they are yours.

Just PM me to not disrupt this thread.

I found the Rubi shocks to be a nice improvement over the Sahara shocks. I ran them for about a year before upgrading to Rancho's.

Very easy install. The front passenger is the one that takes a little work.
