Any bug deflector ideas?

I took a 4 hour round trip the other day and I had to clean my windshield three times not out of vanity but out of necessity because I couldn't see. Any input would be outstanding it's like driving a sheet of plywood down the freeway.

Won't keep the bugs off. Might deflect rocks to the upper third of your windshield. That's pretty much it.

Best bug solution?

I had one on my TJ and never had a stone chop in 2 years. I've had my JK for a little over a month and have 2 chips with no bug shield...

Save you money. It dose not work to keep bugs off. They look good but that is all.

Well...here is what I have found with my bug deflector. The little tiny LIGHTWEIGHT bugs only splatter across the top 20 percent of the windshield now. The HEAVY DUTY bugs still make it through, but no longer clog up the windshield wipers. Overall, I did get a decrease in bugs which means I can ALMOST go three days before I have to clean my windshield. Short of racking the windscreen back 20 degrees, that will be as good as it gets. I also had to put billets in the grill - the bugs here in 'Bama are big enough to take out your radiator!
