I think it's cool to remove the rubicon sticker, it's like you know what your jeep is capable without advertising it. What I can't stand is someone with the sport sticker and the rubicon sticker on the hood. Super poser! Seen it three times, one had the sahara tire cover too.

I just peeled off the Wrangler stickers and left everything else in tact. Those just looked cheesy to me for some reason. May plastidip the chrome Jeep black if I'm bored one day.

The stickers and badgets generally aren't for Jeepers, they are generally for non-Jeepers.

My Commando Green came with silver stickers, so I'm going to take them off. I am not sure how many, or if I will replace any of them. I'll probably not replace the "Rubicon", nore is it likely that I'll replace the "Unlimited" sticker. I might replace the "Wrangler" sticker, if that is separate. Would it be wrong to put a Sport sticker on a Rubicon? heh, just to mess with people...

I may put other lettering on the hood, instead for the word "Rubicon", though I haven't decided. I'm not a big fan of brand stickers all over my Jeep. If they want to give me the stuff for free, then sure, I'll slap a sticker on. Now, I'm not going to go out of my way to cover up product names on the product themselves, e.g. the Old Man Emu sticker on the actual shocks or the MetalCloak stamped into the metal.

In the end, as other people have stated, "it's your Jeep, do what you want!"

I pulled all the decals off of my JKU Sport, just didn't like the look. I wasn't a big fan of the "trail Rated" badge by itself on the side so I moved it to the back. It is on the left side towards the top right next to the tailgate

I de-badged the fenders, and ordered silver RUBICON decals for my hood. I didn't want to completely remove the rubi decals but wanted a more subtle look. With the Billet and it's ever changing hues, the silver can either be very easily seen, or disappear completely. I also removed the fender decals as they looked cheesy to me. Still undecided about front grill emblem.

Before:

After:

And here the rubi decal appears non-existent (it's there, I assure you):

Not on this iteration of wranglers. It used to indicate it was a unique vehicle with 4wd but since all of them are now it's moot.

I hate the "x" decals. Why do i need a special decal to tell everyone im a cheapass who got the base model?

Im concerned that my paint might be slightly faded and removing the decal may expose unfaded paint. Red fades fast.

Put a bigger/cooler one over it if that's the case

I just fixed mine last night and it came out great. A blow dryer, a fingernail and a bit of Goof-Off fixed it right up! I did both sides. Here is the driver's side.

Adam... I meant if there was faded paint when you removed them... you may have nothing to worry about.

I pulled the stickers and the trail rated badge. It didn't bother me with them on, but I like it better now...

The Jeep logo has the Maryland flag superimposed on it, so it stays. I have those on both sides of the Jeep. I get stopped at least once a month by somebody asking me where they can get one.
I just put the Teraflex decal on there, so it will stay until I get tired of it or remove the TF stuff from under the Jeep. The Quadratec one I'm thinking about. It's been on there about a year...
