Any opinions on the Gibson Metal Mulisha exhaust?

I am looking at purchasing this exhaust system and would like a few opinions on it. Does anyone on here have this system installed and would they recommend it? Thanks.

I thought about this exhaust, but got some advice that the large tips looked awkward on a Jeep, so I decided to go with the AFE high tuck cat back exhaust and I couldn't be happier

The tips look fine. The exhaust sounds good too. I saw it in person. If you're a serious off-roader then you'll rip the tips off. The muffler can be installed with the tips if needed.

I have the standard size Gibson axle back and think it sounds badass. Looks good too.

I've had it for around 6-7 months. So far regretting it. The sound is what I was looking for, but I'm having a hard time liking how the tips look after being in love it with initially. My tips have rusted badly, and I thought it might be a quality control issue. But, two of my friends have also installed these on their jeeps, and they're starting to rust. IF you live in an area that rains a lot, the water will collect inside the tips as they have a somewhat large lip, and will cause the tips to rust a lot. Will post a picture tomorrow if you want to see what I'm talking about. Hope this helps

I like the looks and the sound. I think that I just might crush those big tips offroading though.
But it sounds wicked. What does it sound like without the tips??

As far as I know the tips are just for looks. They just bolt on mine.

I am sorry to hear of the rust. I was really set on purchasing the system. Is the rust that bad and is it only on the tips?

Wow those tips are horrible and it sounds like crap. I guess none of you have ever driven a v8, 6 bangers just sound so weak with exhaust compared to the deep throaty exhaust note from a v8. I honestly wouldn't even bother with an exhaust on my 2014 especially after hearing this.

Looks like it should be on a lowered Honda not a Jeep.

Wow ... in looking at the pictures, that is disappointing. I really wanted pull the trigger on this exhaust system. Have you tried contacting Gibson on this? I wonder if by coating the tips with a high heat clear, if this would resist the rust? Thanks for all the reply's and pictures.
