Any raving Dick Cepek fans?

Not a brand I have any experience with. When my KMs get used up I'd assumed I'd go to KM2s. But the DC Crusher is the same price (actually a few shekels cheaper, about $75 for four) and usually small niche manufacturers of things that manage to survive make a product that has raving fans.

I'd probably be going with 285/70-17 Crushers or KM2s on stock Rubi wheels. With or without spacers as needed. 2" Rancho lift currently and that's all I anticipate.

Crushers are (from what I can tell) WAAY more extreme MTs than Duratracs, which are ATs; did your friend not get another pair because he discovered that he didn't want a true MT tire, or did he actually have trouble with the Crushers or not get the MT performance out of them he was looking for?

There are about six threads on them when I searched in WF, and man are opinions all over the place. One guy wrote a detailed review and made them sound like the best mud tire ever made, as far as clearing mud and keeping you going, while being very quiet on the road and making your toast and coffee for you in the morning. Then other people chimed in with "I got bad CS from them when I had a problem" posts.

So just wondering if anybody on here now actually has any experience with them.

Thanks for all comments.
