Any suggestions?

Need suggestions, have had a 2009 for less than 2 weeks. It's got 34,000 on it. Noticed a slight rough idle couple times. Then one day pouring down rain, runs tough, shook all over, engine light flashes then stays on. Code number 2 misfire. Cleared code a few hours later. Runs fine now. What do u think?

Water in the gas is always a possibility with your symptoms.

I have the same problem with my 2009 with 54K miles. Ran Lucas Fuel Treatment thru it. Cleared up for a while. Now two tanks later same problem.

Try Heet water absorber or similar product. Then run some Marvel mystery oil through your gas tank.

A misfire on one cylinder is a spark problem pull the plug on that cylinder and check it real close look for hair line crack in the insulator and the condition of the electrode also check the wire and boot or if you have access to a known good plug just change it out . might be a good time to change all the plugs.

Not the same vehicle and I'm not looking to spook you but my commuter Hyundai Accent threw a misfire code. Dealer checked it out, didn't see anything. Happened again. They looked deeper. Next thing I know, my car is torn apart in the shop, I've got a rental and engineers from corporate are being called in. Bad head casting. I got a new head, proceeded to run the car into the ground and when I retired, traded it in on my old TJ. If it clears up, plug looks good, probably water in the fuel.
