Kbwolf, any cargo space left in the jeep after using installed the bowflex? , I just made the absolute needed mods while I save up for lift plus tyres . Quadratech floorliners to collect all the sand my shoes drag in as well as tinted windows before it becomes an oven over here. Come to think of it, going to seriously have to order some hothead liners....., already have 27 Celsius days over here and it's just the beginning of March.

So did you do these mods or didn't you?

This is a sign of denial. One of these days you will come home with an XHD bumper and the little woman is going to say "Where'd ya get that new bumper?" and you are gonna say "What new bumper? That's always been there".

Zero mods here. Bought mine in November...wanted to wait until all the salt gets off the roads up here in Wisconsin before I start putting extra parts on it this year.

Mine is being delivered Monday or Tuesday. Mods to follow, but in no hurry......

Wheels and tires (when it's time to change tires)
Tinted soft top windows
Windshield mounted KC's
Steps (wife and kiddo have a little trouble)
CB (maybe)
Maybe front and rear bumpers
And the FIRST THING GOING ON WILL BE THE ALARM!!!!!

Daily Driver and on a budget, so I'll have to pick and choose importance and functionality.

Mine is pretty much stock. Spry lined the interior with lineX, and love it, but besides that no major mods. Getting headlight upgrades from quadratic but there on back order.

Plasti-Dipped them. Cost me about $12 for two cans of it and a day of my time. Came out fantastic. There are several threads on here on how to do it. Or just youtube "plasti-dip wheels".

I haven't done any mods since the weekend (it's now Tuesday) and I'm already getting twitchy.... I think it's time for a trip to the local 4x4 shop.

When you want a change, try it and then if you get sick of it peel it off. That is what I am loving about this stuff. I can switch it back when I want to.

Other than flipping the mirror zero so far but I've only had it for 36 hours. This weekend I should be installing the ACE Rock Sliders (more like steps for my wife).

I will receive my engineering degree in 3 months, age 29 btw...so the JKU was an early graduation present to myself.

Had my JKU for 7 days, no mods...yet. I want to do small things first, floor liners, locking gas cap, taillight guards. Nothing major at the moment.

I am just thrilled to have a Jeep so a stock JKU at the moment is ok with me

This statement is not relevant. 99% of the modded out JK's here are DD's.

I found this funny. I read this statement thinking that you came in here advocating plasti Dip or like you had been using it for years....

Then I looked up and you just learned about it Yesterday

Glad you're liking the product though. I bet their sales are going up like crazy since people started using it on vehicles.

Bought 2012 wrangler 2dr on dec 11. Still stock. Planning to change the wheels and 2 inch lift kit as my first mod.

So, tell us about your completely stock JK and then, if you are armchair modding, what do you plan your first half dozen or so mods to be?

My armchair build so far:

Shorty Antenna (thought I'd done this but the one I got was wrong )
Side steps/bars (haven't decided which)
Mesh Grill Liners (not sure which yet)
Tinted SoftTop windows

Remember, mine is a city Jeep so no planned suspension mods or anything like that...yet (evil grin)

I got my 2011 11/10 and i have yet to do anything serious. I have only done "oh shit handles", floor liners, and the tired tread shift handle. Im waiting to get the lift and tires. Soon though, I hope. I know once you start, you cant really stop cuz one thing leads to another and then you've spent enough to buy a new one.

Have gone off roading at George Washington National Forest and it did great as a stocker.

Wow. Mine was pretty close to stock until I got a couple of those big boxes with "Smittybilt" on the side like I see in your picture there over the last two weeks.
