Shorty antenna ordered today. That will be the very first mod.

Leveling kit/wheels/tires.
sidesteps/running boards maybe.

I have done zero mods, unless you count taking off the dealer and jeep stickers.

I ordered quite a few things, just haven't come in yet. I just picked up my JK this week =)

I really don't consider what I've done mods... fuel tank door, grab handles, door sills and mats... oh and I removed the wrangler fender decals... I'm puting on black and white american flags from pixie decals in their place... I bought a rubi so i wouldn't need to mod... so far so good.

I've had mine for 3 weeks. Still stock. I will mod it one day. Just not anytime soon. Daily driver so I don't need to start modding it then breaking it.

I have been looking at RK 2.5" lifts, 33's, ace rock rails, and an assorted aray of bumpers. Those are probably the hardest choice. I plan to do some off roading eventually. Rausch Creek is close so i can do some greens before needing to mod. It's hard keeping away from the order button. Plenty of jeeps on here to showcase their true potential.

There's no need to rush into mods anyway. Mine was stock for awhile while I decided what I wanted. Spent a lot of timing talking to every modded Jeep driver that was within shouting distance and a lot of time on the net. Mods are too expensive to have regrets.

Removed the rear seat , removed the factory stickers , added a tattoo and trying to figure a proper tie-down system for canoe and kayaks.

Will probably get the grille inserts with mesh for radiator protection and the hood guard if I can find the flat-black.

900 miles on my 2013 JKUR. No mods. No plans to mod. Drove my 2001 XJ for 12 years and it's still bone stock.

Yeah, I'm already planning to do the shouldered bolts, sidesteps, hood lock, and fuel fill door. No lift kits / big tires since she'll be a DD. Maybe a rearview cam and a cam display mirror since I've the 130n. And am looking for some roof rack but haven't really found one which made me fall in love with it yet.

And to think the jeep is not built yet..

No mods so far, but only had it a week!

In all seriousness, I plan not to mod it until the tires wear out. I like it like it is, and since I don't climb rocks it can do everything I want off road in stock form.

When the tires wear out, I may go to 33's, but that's about it.

Unless you consider a couple of decals a mod, that is...nothing other than that.

My only recommendation for stock jeeps are the Drake grill inserts. Sturdy aluminum, protects condenser and keeps leaves out of the radiator. comes in black, brushed and polished look, so they can be barely noticeable.

Also, i would invest in a metal aftermarket bumper. Those cheap stock bumper get the ugliest dents if someone hits you at 10 miles an hour. New bumper= over 300 dollars. save up the extra couple 100 bucks and get a nice new steel bumper

I've had mine less than two weeks now. It's an '08 but bone stock and only 23k on the odometer. But according to my UPS tracking numbers, parts should start showing up tomorrow. It's looking like a great weekend ahead!

Do what you want when you want...strongly encourage you check this forum for ANY and ALL questions before purchases, too much good knowledge in here. But beware, these guys will MAKE u want everything!!!

Wish I could help with the stock stories. But I'm also a mustang owner and have not managed to keep any car I've owned stock for more than the first week.

Picked mine up 4 weeks ago. As I got the keys I ordered the black front emblem. Since then I have added valve stem caps. I like to build things myself if I can. So I built some dark blue suede ceiling panels (Why does a black interior come with a white hardtop interior?) They are suede because I like the feel, not because I think this is an Aston Martin. Next mod is some vinyl work to replace the stuff on there now. After that... Tubing bender, welder, sheet metal bender, and other fabrication items. Then I'll design at least some of the next parts that go on my car.

I just need to carry all the things.

JK Wrangler Unlimited Sport, only had it for about 3 weeks now. I'm compiling lists of what I want. As the it is paid off though the mods will probably happen slowly. My biggest need is hauling capacity. In the vehicle, on the vehicle, behind the vehicle...

The cheep mods:
Floor mats (Quadratec?)
And security items like locking lugnuts on the wheels and locking fuel cap.
Roll Bar Handles

The less cheep ones:
Roof Rack (probably deciding between the Kargo Master one or the Garvin one)
Tow hitch.

Those are my definites but then there's the dream of lift kits, new wheels, and a winch.

Would a non-chipped key be out of the question also? Does jeep ever do that? I have a bad habit of locking my compartments, then realizing I want something while driving. I don't want to have to pull over and turn off the vehicle just to unlock the center console.

Mine is stock (Well I bought it today). All I have done is remove the top and doors and enjoy the drive (175 miles today, sorry to say only 10 off road).

2013 Commando Green "Freedom Edition"

Want to Add (waiting on funds):

Spiderweb JKini
Lange Quick Mirrors
Wet Okole Seat Covers

For Starters but maybe in the future:

Tires
Lift
Winch

We will see.

NRA sticker.

That is plenty modified for me.

My motto after decades and many 10s of thousands of dollars wasted on what proved to be poorly engineered after market crap is "Buy it as close as you can get to the way you want it from the factory and leave it alone."

I've had mine since March. Only plans I have are a 2" lift, more aggressive tires, and an Auto Start for the subzero temps in the winter.

Mine was stock for about 48 hrs after driving her off the lot. So far the mods I've added:

Seat covers
Steering wheel cover (it did come with nice rubber fl mats though)
Stubby antenna
Gas cap cover
Side rails
Black rims
Grill guard
Rear tail light covers

My next two mods are going to be a stinger front bumper and matching rear bumper, and a roof rack. Mine is also mainly a city driver so I don't think I'll add suspention mods or even a lift. However, I do want to get her out trailing soon, just not on anything that would snap an axle.

I bought a '13 JKU Rubicon on Tuesday, take delivery tomorrow. One reason I bought the Rubi was my perception that it has already been modded to a significant degree. This will be my DD, but also used for hunting, camping, mild off-roading, and even the occasional long distance road-trip, so no plans to lift, do bigger tires/wheels, or suspension upgrades. The Rubi is likely more than I'll ever need. I do like the idea of heavier duty bumpers, some sort of brush-guard, locking gas cap, tail-light guards, and I'll also add a tow-hitch at some point.

Mostly I'm thinking I'll just drive it, enjoy it, and check out threads on this forum and just generally look at other Jeeps, get ideas here and there, and make little tweaks occasionally. It's about the journey, not the destination......

I guess you can count my rubber duckie sticker as a mod... but other than that, I'm stock. Nearing a year and 15000 miles of ownership, too.

I'd like to buy a few things - rock rails (like Ace that can serve as steps), a security deck (want to figure measurements), a performance leveling kit (get rid of the rake, 1 in all around), soft top boot (though who am I kidding, I just use the sunrider position), mesh shade (trying to figure out if the 2dr size fits on the 4dr). Everything is just too expensive, and I'd rather not throw it on credit card or deny myself other things.

It'll probably be stock for a while, maybe not modded at all besides aesthetic things.

2700 miles on my 10A Rubi and no mods aside from a shade to keep my head from roasting. Also no real intent of doing any mods until I find a reason the stock stuff isn't good enough.
