Anybody know the part number for a 10th Anniversary Rubicon Hood?

My regular hood got Hail damage and I want to replace it with the 10th anniversary hood. Anybody able to get a part number for it?

It may be awhile before Chrysler will sell you that hood. You can buy the AEV hood for about $800 or the Mopar clone for a lot more money.

Yeah, the new hood isn't available yet and then when it is, there is a rumor that you will need to give them a """"10A"""" vin to get it. And then you will piss off everyone that bought a """"10A"""" because they don't like to think of the rest of the 2013 Rubicons as also being 10th Anniversary Editions. But I am with you. I want a new hood, but nice jeep in my town is sporting an aev already. Have you seen the new RKsport design? They make a non-carbon fiber one by the way, but here is a link with some pics to the carbon fiber one...

You are all more then welcome to build your own 10A rubi, that is why this is America.. anyone can do anything they want to their Jeep within laws and nobody can question it. If you manage to get a hood I'm sure there will be bumpers on craigslist before too long from people upgrading and you can probably even get the 10A badging to throw on the side. Its your Jeep, do what you want to it to make it yours and how you like it.. to hell with those who disagree

And how hard would it be to get a 10A vin?

Not hard sniping someone's VIN ... When you get to the parts counter to place your order I would imagine you need to prove you still own that vehicle.

Small obstacle...

Not hard, just walk onto a stealership and write it down off of one on the lot.

Don't even need to do that... Just look on Jeep's website. They publish the VIN on the window sticker.

Again.. You'll need to show other documentation you own that vehicle.

Not that I want someone to crash their new Wrangler or get hurt....but....I would LOVE to find a Billet 10A that got rear-ended and totaled.....so I could get the hood.

I think the AEV hood is better looking. I don't get why Jeep charges hundreds of dollars more for the Heat reduction hood without the vents. The may actually sell more of them if the price was competitive.

The dealer told me the other day that they weren't able to order them yet but that they were $660 unfinished. I don't think I am going to wait for it though, I am just going to order the rk sport hood. I ended up deciding I like it better anyway.

I would also be interested in getting the part number for a 10th Anniversary Rubicon Hood if anyone knows. Also, the part number for the bumpers are as well.

This is indeed the correct part number...I have my hood ordered, originally placed on 5/19 and they said they already had 12 backorders. I've kept in contact with several parts suppliers but no one seems to have them in stock yet. Anyone else have an ETA on this hood?

Curious if they will be VIN blocked. Often times when a part first comes out the orders can be placed but then they are canceled by MOPAR when the dealerships can't provide a matching VIN.

For those looking for the 10th Anniversary Hood, if you search for the thread "2013 Rubicon Hood - Need this!'" gives part number and a dealer willing to order and ship. Price is around $600, which includes shipping.

Ordered mine with ship date of about 1- 2 weeks.

Bumper parts list as I have researched are all these...most of them do not have prices yet, but either way, here is the list:

It is referred to as the Bumper MC6

68195896AA (Main Bumper)
68231956AA (Fog Lamp Bracket A)
68231957AA (Fog Lamp Bracket B)
68231962AA (Bumper MC6 Cover A)
68231963AA (Bumper MC6 Cover B)
68231858AA (Closeout Panel "Rubicon")
68186598AA (Close Out Panel "Bottom")
68197714AA x2 (Bracket Kit bumper) (This may be a similar SKU to generic Stock..not sure)
68195808AA (Bumper MC6 Cover top)
68231954AA (Bumper Extension A, detachable)
68231955AA (Bumper Extension B, detachable)

Then there are a series of Bolts
68231970AA MC6 Bolt Torx qty-8 (Not sure if it is a kit of 8, or x8)
68231973AA MC6 Bolt Torx qty-8 (Not sure if it is a kit of 8, or x8)

Also cannot find part# for Tow Hooks..assume you can use stock and powder coat them red

If anyone can add further info, please do

Has anyone attempted to order the 10a bumper using the parts list? Or for that matter installing it on a pre-2013 JK? I own a 2012 Rubicon and love the 10a bumpers.
