Instead of doing a new bumper right now, I'm thinking of trying to find a stock stubby conversion somebody has done, or doing it on my own. I'd also like to put the light bar on. I'm not doing a winch at the moment as I have too many other things around the house to do (hence the reason I'm not getting a new bumper).
Anyway, just from the pictures it looks like it just bolts onto the factory bumper. Has anybody done this, have pics, or experience they can offer up? I'd appreciate it.
gluestick, kjeeper. question. think a winch (probably a warn 8000, or something similar) would fit underneath the MBRP bar, on a stock bumper? i'm curious.... opcorn:
That is true...I tried to help my friend who has a '12 install the MBRP and forund the vacuum pump was interefering with the mounting bracket on the driver's side. Because this was her brand new baby, she didn't want me modding it to fit:doh:. The problem is actually the bracket for the vaccuum pump being welded to the frame rail (where it isn't on pre '12 models) interfering with the MBRP install
Merly, any pics of the "bent" pump. I'd like to put this on my 2012, just waiting for the backordered vacuum pump relocation kit. Would be great to do it without moving it......
