Anyone fill their AEV rear bumper/tire carrier with beer or whiskey?

Dont laugh i'm being serious. Has anyone ever done it? is it hard to clean it out? I've got the bumper and tire carrier coming in the mail and it just randomly occurred to me how awesome it would be to fill it up with beer or fireball whiskey while camping or tailgating at the game. My main concern would be cleaning it out so when I can have drinkable water in it.... sometimes...

No. But beer is carbonated. All that shaking and bouncing would not be good!

On board water I can understand. On board alcohol is just asking for problems of many different sorts from the legal to the dangerous.

You know what's cooler then putting beer in the bumper, putting it in a cooler like a normal person.

The beer and/or the whiskey will be ruined by the heat and constant shaking, the bumper will smell like like either or both for a long time, you will have some explaining to do if you get stopped and your family and/or friends will hate for ruining the camping or tailgating event.

Besides that it's all good.

Ok since the op requested that we don't laugh I will refrain but that is one of the most outragous questions I have read in a long time..... guess I would wonder why such a question would even be asked.... am thinking too much free time on his hands

Just make sure to crank up "Copperhead Road" on the stereo, and you'll be good.

Instead of in the bumper, you should try serving your beer from, ya know, cans and bottles.

I've yet to put water in mine either. I hooked up the plumbing kit to it, and just haven't found a reason to yet. I have to laugh at the above though, driving down a dirt road with a bumper full of whiskey blasting Copperhead Road!

Mounted so close to the muller I wouldn't personally want to drink out of it. Plus how many gallons does it hold? That'd be a lot of whiskey and could cost a lot

Could be done. Just need a diaphragm. Collapse it and stuff it in the fill hole, then mount some type of dispenser on the top. Whiskey though, beer would go flat.

There is plenty of room in the back to put a keg.

LOL I know I know. It was one of those too much time on my hands kinda thoughts. Damn you DMV... Just curious if anyone actually tried it. Theres always that one guy that is the reason AEV starts putting "do not fill with alcohol" label on their bumper. I just didn't want to be that guy lol

They hold 4.6 gal. Could only pump out 3 gal. Installed a drain valve between tanks.
