Anyone fill their AEV rear bumper/tire carrier with beer or whiskey?
Dont laugh i'm being serious. Has anyone ever done it? is it hard to clean it out? I've got the bumper and tire carrier coming in the mail and it just randomly occurred to me how awesome it would be to fill it up with beer or fireball whiskey while camping or tailgating at the game. My main concern would be cleaning it out so when I can have drinkable water in it.... sometimes...
On board water I can understand. On board alcohol is just asking for problems of many different sorts from the legal to the dangerous.
Before you Offroad ... Be Prepared! The very FIRST thing to do to your Jeep should go IN your Jeep - EMERGENCY AND RECOVERY GEAR!!!!! It may be the difference between getting home late and not getting home at all!!!!!!

The beer and/or the whiskey will be ruined by the heat and constant shaking, the bumper will smell like like either or both for a long time, you will have some explaining to do if you get stopped and your family and/or friends will hate for ruining the camping or tailgating event.
Ok since the op requested that we don't laugh I will refrain but that is one of the most outragous questions I have read in a long time..... guess I would wonder why such a question would even be asked.... am thinking too much free time on his hands
I've yet to put water in mine either. I hooked up the plumbing kit to it, and just haven't found a reason to yet. I have to laugh at the above though, driving down a dirt road with a bumper full of whiskey blasting Copperhead Road!

LOL I know I know. It was one of those too much time on my hands kinda thoughts. Damn you DMV... Just curious if anyone actually tried it. Theres always that one guy that is the reason AEV starts putting "do not fill with alcohol" label on their bumper. I just didn't want to be that guy lol
They hold 4.6 gal. Could only pump out 3 gal. Installed a drain valve between tanks.
