After the release of the 2012 models I've really been following everyone's experience with the new wranglers. I've got an 06 xterra and I am curious how the '12 jk compares with normal everyday driving. I'd most likely get a sport model and not do any serious offroading.
.
I'm not saying the either my yj or my wife's jku is perfect, far from. what I am saying is that jeeps have positives and negatives. the xterra, for me, was all negative. I didn't think it was more comfortable to travel in, it was slow ( not that my yj isn't) and I get better gas mileage in my lifted yj with 3.07's and 33"s (14 compared to 10 in town (I know, something was wrong with it... EVERYTHING!!!))
