2012 with 10,500 miles on it. Only problem is the clock losing time.

2012 altitude. Rust on undercarriage. Heated seats work now and then. Back window leaks. But wouldn't trade it for anything. Too much fun.

These Forums are great to gather information. Just remember that we people as a whole have a tendency to be negative, rather then positive. Sadly this is human nature for many.
Think about it this way, if I started a new thread and said my Wrangler has no problems. There really is not much to respond too. The thread would be gone out of sight within the same day.
Any Forum that you go to you will see the same negative conversation about the product that the Forum refers to. I have belonged to many, go to a Polaris Ranger Forum and you will get depressed!
I have owned several Jeeps and yes they have some problems, but so do all the other vehicles currently manufactured.
I have a 2013 Rubicon. I have looked it over from one end to the other, fluid levels, line routing and are the bolts tight. I can honestly tell you that mine had quality on the assembly line.
Don't let this Forum scare you away from a Wrangler, because you will be missing out on a lot of fun if you don't purchase one.
Good Luck!

This question comes up on every car forum ive ever been on. People join forums to complain about problems, not to shout on rooftops about how their vehicle works every day.

There was some slight exaggeration in that post. What i was trying to say was that people dont come on here and post how their Jeep is fine that day. Its more likely you'll see questions about problems.

God, I would hope that the posters above with 5 or 10 or 20K have no issues! The only ones that impress me are the two or three that have 100K plus with few or virtually no problems!

You're absolutely right. That's why I started this thread, to give people a place to talk about how reliable their Jeeps are and to counteract some of the negative posts. Oh, and also to talk me off the ledge a bit. You know how it is, jitters. These things cost a pant-load of money....

No issues. A few squeaks that have been solved. Hoping for a good 100K or 10 year vehicle or more.

Hey Crushed. How about a couple of pix of the Camaros? Muscle cars are my true passion. I had a '69 Chevelle and a '72 442. I dream about getting my next one, thinking 65 - 69 Mustang.

Two examples one was terrible and so far the other is great.
2012 Rubicon, had both cylinder heads replaced, water pump twice, had it into the dealer 5 times to get hard top leaks fixed, a pinion seal and a lot of squeaks and rattles so I sold the piece of junk and bought a 2013 Rubicon. Currently 6300 miles on it and no problems.

55k on my 09 JKU and not a single issue (knock wood)

Had 155k on my 01 TJ. Rebuilt the tranny around 85k, replaced the radiator and hoses once and did brakes a couple times. That was it and I beat the snot out of that thing!

2012 Unlimited RHD 27k miles. Warranty on rear glass defrost and a radiator hose incorrectly installed at the factory. It ticks but the dealer did a leakdown test on both heads and passed. I love this Jeep!

I have covered the toughest dirt trails and racked up over 1200 miles on my rig, and not one single problem!

What happened to the motto, if something doesn't break, you are not driving it hard enough?

How does the old saying go??? If it has t&*s or wheels; sooner or later, it will give you trouble!!! However, most new vehicles are pretty damn trouble free. We drive them in excess of 100,000 miles without ever touching them with a wrench. Pretty amazing. In the good old days, a vehicle with 100,000 on the clock was pretty well used up.
Then changing points, plugs, setting the timing, tuning the carbureter every few miles was also a big pain. Tires went about 10,000 miles and were shot. When I think of all this stuff, a broken wire to the starter is just minor and not called "trouble". So, with all that, no problems in 29000 miles.
