Not mine. However, that stuff in place of the fenders is Smittybilt XRC Armor...supposedly put out by smitty in Feb 2010. However, when I called them about it last October just to find out some info, they said it was "still under development," and that they'd sold only a few prototypes.

So, pretty rare stuff. Kinda like photographing a unicorn.

Yep. I love the SB armor. I'm not sure where else I saw pics. Done right (no 20" fancy wheels) it's looks fantastic.
Designed well- from why I read. Who knows- This is the first time I've seen them.

Only problem, it covers only about 3-4" out from the body...if that. When I asked the Smitty guy on the phone if they were street legal, there was about 5 seconds of silence, and then he mumbled something like, well, not completely.

See ya, 2-year-old product that's still unavailable and serves no real function.

I don't know. That stuff kinda looks like chaps. Maybe someone from the viiliage people owns it?

Definitely for a trail rig only. Essentially your running no fenders/flares. That jeep does not need the lift it has.
I like the concept. If they could build on them, maybe extend them out a bit for street use.

I thought they were available? Just recently I saw the ad

Oh..... Wuzzzz up?

Maybe they are, now. But they weren't in October.

For black Jeeps only, IMO.

Lol...chaps.

Never considered the XRC armor "rare". Lots of folks run it at both JK-F and JKO.
Smittybilt XRC fender pics!

Okay, no one else has said it so I'll take one for the team...WTF! It looks like this guy had 2 totally different design concepts and decided to do both! Not to mention being parked in the handicapped space. Not sure if it's warranted or not but looking at that rig sort of handicaps my eyes! But to each his own I guess. It does give me some ideas of what not to do though!

Yeah, i'm not a fan of it either...

i hate the rims, dont like the design flow, and overall it could have been done much better.

maybe its being done in stages

Seeing a rig lifted that much in a handicap spot without side steps leads me to the conclusion that its a mentally handicapped person.

My guess, belongs so some kid. the only thing it's missing is a wing and stick on fender vents.

It's certainly "unique" looking. It's a "Rodeo" jeep.

I saw a black version of that Jeep getting those fenders installed at a local 4WheelParts store a few weeks ago. I looked at it while it was on the rack and the suspension looked stock. I asked the mechanic what lift was going on with those fenders and he said none. He said the Jeep's owner wanted the tough look with the new fenders and larger tires, but he didn't have plans to take it offroad.

Hmm, it looks a bit odd. It made me think of Robbie Williams a couple of years ago in the video clip 'Rock DJ'.....
