Anyone remove Silver piece on front and rear bumper

Has anyone removed their silver pieces attatched to the stock bumpers (under the license plate on front, and under the tire on back) So that the entire bumper is the same black color? If so, how do you do it and does it look good? Pics would be nice

I've never done it but many do.

It's just a silver overlay. The whole bumper is black. Take a look at a Sport or a Rubicon bumper. That's what it looks like.

Quadratec actually sells them. Pretty pricey.

My understanding is you've got to remove the bumper to get them off.

the front comes off with 4 screws on top 4 on bottom. For rear you can remove it by unscrewing bottom screws then bending or tearing the holes on top, if you don't want to tear the holes you will have to take the rear bumper off
